Introducing our brand-new Pure Aluminum Rods! Crafted from pure aluminum, these rods are renowned for their superior corrosion resistance, exceptional thermal conductivity, and excellent electrical conductivity.

Perfectly suited for TIG welding and oxygen-acetylene gas welding, these rods serve as much-needed filler material for pure aluminum and aluminum alloy joints. These rods have become an industry favorite, particularly amongst chemical industry professionals who rely on aluminum equipment.

Before you start welding, take a moment to thoroughly clean the groove and wire surface. Its also recommended to preheat the rods to a temperature between 400 and 500 degrees prior to welding. For successful results, make sure to use copper gas welding solvent.

Pay attention to the welding flameit should either be a neutral flame or a slight oxidation flame. By reducing the welding temperature and increasing the speed, you reduce the residence time of the molten pool at high temperatures. This prevents zinc evaporation and oxidation.

Our aluminum rods come in a size of 3.2mmx 230mm (diameter* length), and they arrive in a generous pack of 10. Their stunning silver color adds a touch of sophistication.
